Marian tree or ma-yan-thee tree grew in all parts of Myanmar. Myanmars love marian fruit and they eat it in different ways. Gree mayanthees eat as salad together with boiled fish paste which they called it toe-sa-yar in English, a salad. Sometimes, they do make it a salad with fresh onions, dried prawn powder, oil and mayanthees(Marian) sliced very thinly and with added salt and fish sauce and season powder and chili powder, the smell and taste watered the mouth of most Myanmars. It has sour taste but after few drops of rain, it turned sweet and the taste is incomparable! For long lasting, some boiled water and add salt and when it becomes cold, marian fruits are being added and after five days you can eat it. Some people sliced the marian fruits and dried it in the sun and kept it year long. When cooking pork it is very delicious to out in dried Marians and the curry becomes delicious.
