Paper reading session to mark Myanmar Women’s Day held

Donation of rice, edible oil, salt and medicines was held at the ceremony held at Ahtulamarazein Pagoda and central monasteries in Taunggyi on

 16-8-2008 in conjunction with competitions of recital of Dammasekkya by 270 students from 15 BEHS schools in Taunggyi. 

  Present at the ceremony were Shan State Commander Major General Yar Pyeik, Patron of Shan State Women Affairs Organization

Daw Thin Zar Win Sein, Chairman of Shan State WAO Daw Swe Swe Myint, Shan State MCWA members, teachers and students totaling 495 attended the ceremony.
