Under the arrangement of Myanmar Women Affairs Federation, organization and educative talks were given at Nweninn model village in PyinOoLwin Township on 23/8/2006. Present at the talks were, Organizational Department Head of MWAF, Mandalay Division WAO chairperson and members, Pyin Oo Lwin District WAO president and members, Kyauke District USDA members, WAO members of Nweninn, Kangyigone, Phaungtaw, Kywenaarhtauk, Doekwin, Paeinnnekone, Phathinn,Hsingaunggyi,21-mile and Thonedaung villages, members of village maternal and child welfare organizations and village ladies totaling 510 among others. Mandalay DivisionWAF Organizational Department Head Dr. Daw Nyunt Nyunt Oo delivered an opening speech and explained about MWAF. Afterwards, group leader of prevention and rehabilitation of women of Mandalay Division WAO Daw Mi Mi Lay spoke about prevention of trafficking in person and Specialist Dr. Tun Myint gave educative talks on HIV/AIDS. Later, 10 discussion groups were allotted and educative discussions were held separately and answers were given to queries raised. Later, uniforms donated by MWAF were given to Township WAO President, books of all sorts for Nweninn village library to Village WAO president and educative pamphlets concerning HIV/AIDS and on iodine salts were given and handed out.
