Alungdaw Cathapa National Park
  • Located in Sagaing Division of Myanmar
  • Established in 1941 as a wildlife sanctuary and opened as a national park in 1984
  • Covers an area of 620.35 square miles
  • Conserve biodiversity including flora and fauna
  • Study and research on ecosystem of plants and animals
  • Providing sanctuary to such wildlife as elephant, tiger, leopard, guar, ban tang, sambur, barking deer, jungle goat, mountain goat, wild boar,bear,jungle cat and a variety of birds
